ELV - End of Life Vehicles

Step 1

All vehicles (ELV's) are first inspected to make sure there are no hazardous materials inside i.e. gas bottles, petrol cans, aerosol cans and any other flammable materials.

Step 2

All tyres and batteries are removed.

Step 3

All vehicles are then moved to our depollution bays. These bays are in a special area linked to an interceptor drainage system which protects the environment against contamination.

Step 4

After leaving the depollution area we remove any high value spare parts which then go to our spares department for resale.

Step 5

The engine and gearbox is then removed. The vehicle is now ready for bailing which is carried out by our Lefort shear/bailer.
